EMPLOYMENT AT THE CHILDREN'S CENTER

  • We are always looking for competent staff who will add their skills to our team.  
  • Teachers are required to have an Elementary or Early Childhood degree.  Having a CDA will also qualify for potential teachers.  
  • National Background checks, fingerprinting, drug screenings, TB tests and physicals are required as prerequisites to be employed at our licensed center.  
  • Assistants are required to have a high school diploma and also receive the above testing.  
  • Our staff at the center follows Developmentally Appropriate Practice and uses Conscious Discipline.

CURRENT JOB OPENINGS

Two Lead Teacher positions available immediately

• Applicant must have a degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education

• Must be 21 years of age

• Applicant needs to be available to work 35 – 40 hours per week

• Background check, drug screening, TB test, physical are required – paid for by the center

• On the job training is available and required throughout the year

• Outgoing, caring, nurturing man or woman are possibilities: Experience preferred

Substitute Positions available immediately

• Persons needed who are able to sub when staff is ill or on vacation

• Must be 18 years of age

• High School diploma required

• Hours would be different each week

• Caring, nurturing caregiver  to children needed: Experience with children preferred
