GODLY PLAY

Godly Play is a worship time that helps children explore their faith through story, wonder, and play. Children have an innate sense of the presence of God, and Godly Play seeks to enhance their spiritual experience. Based on Montessori principles and using Bible-based curriculum, Godly Play serves our children from 4 years old through grade 5.

On most Sundays during morning worship, the children are invited to meet at the Godly Play banner displayed at the front of the sanctuary.  They are greeted by the Storyteller and together follow the banner to their Godly Play room in the education wing of the church.  We hope you’ll come join us!

The older children are in Room 162 and the younger ones are in Room 147. Parents, please pick your child(ren) up at these rooms following the morning worship service.

Godly Play will occur on the following Sundays:

September 10, 17, 24, October 8, 15, 22, 29

WEDNESDAY NIGHT KIDS

Resumes September 6

Wednesday Night Kids Living Inside Out Where Kids Dare to Live Their Faith 24/7

This year we’re going to dig into Bible lessons starting at the beginning with Genesis! A zoo habitat and game using a raw and boiled egg will start us on our Bible journey. This could get messy! By making arks something like Noah’s, we’ll learn that God gives us do-overs.

But the week before we start digging in, game night will give us time to catch up with last year’s friends and make new friends. By special request, we’ll get out the blindfolds and have a mystery taste test!

See you there!!

September 6: Game Night
September 13: God created us for a reason.
September 20: God lets us choose between good and evil.
September 27: God gives us do-overs.

Together we will learn how to make the wise choice, treat others the way we want to be treated, trust God, and have fun!
