David Markle, Senior Pastor
dmarkle@ppchog.org
Grace for me is to live and to serve with people of grace. My nearest co-laborers—Joshua, Kristin, Carma, Barb, Darlene—are grace to me. As are my family, Peggy, Laura and Keelan.
Community, here at Park Place, finds me in a circle called “Crossroads” on Sunday mornings…in a small group hosted by Doris and Darlene a couple Sunday evenings each month…learning what it means to be a “2nd tenor” with a group of men on Wednesdays…plus a circle of brothers who speak into my formation regularly…
Serve means an hour with “Mr. Roy” and friends at the Community Center…prayers for neighbors and friends who need Presence, healing, Jesus…a “walk alongside” with several themselves in formation at AU…or with Indiana Ministries…and beyond…
Celebrate means joy when another discovers just a little more about what it means to be a friend of Jesus and I get to have a voice in their discovery of their Song from God…
Kristin Stayer, Director of Community Center
kstayer@ppchog.org
Kristin grew up in Meadville, PA and was exposed to the urban mission field during her middle school years. It was in the urban cities of the United States that she knew she wanted to pursue work with people who face oppressions and social injustices and to create opportunities for individual and community growth. After graduating in 2007 from Anderson University with a Bachelor’s of Social Work, Kristin worked as the Associate City Director for the Center for Student Missions, coordinating short-term urban mission trips. In 2008, she joined the staff at Park Place Church of God and currently serves as the Director of the Community Center. Kristin is pursuing her Masters of Urban Studies in Community Development at Eastern University and is married to Eric Stayer.
